I arrived at roughly 10 to 4pm. I had driven 1 hour and have had recent surgery. In line behind someone asking questions, someone stuck up a sign saying they close at 4pm. When I got to the front they told me they were closed. I asked what time it was and was told 4. This was not true because after picking up my prescription and getting in my car it was 4:03 I asked kindly if they could "please" see me and had a blunt NO. I explained that I had driven an hour and the reply was "so why are you HERE?" (My doctor is there.) I was told "No. I could go to a dynamite where I came from." I almost cried I was so hurt by this experience.
Made appointment…short wait…took myself & my wife. Blood work taken….in…out…5 minutes for samples…Always very accommodating…..in a stressful environment….keep up the good work….thx
Came with my son for blood work on a Wednesday afternoon. Not a long wait and the lady who took our blood was super nice and friendly and it didn't hurt! ♥️
I have been to different lab locations and this one is the most straight forward and upfront for all types of tests. The nurses are kind and professional and get it done right the first time. Granted the wait times can be long at times, but other labs in Durham are longer. Walk in is best. The technology for schedule time can be better, like all other electronic appointment applications. Reliable and grateful for them in our community.
Staff at this place are very friendly, I have visited this location multiple times for blood collection and every visit was a great experience. Despite the rush, the staff always makes sure to provide great service. Special thanks to Rucha and Stacey who helped us with our 2 year old daughter’s blood work. Me and my wife were worried about it, as it’s the first time for the child but the staff showed patience and made sure the process was smooth.
Process was fine but my doctor hasn't received the blood test results after more than 2 weeks and no one is bothering to answer the phone when we try to contact them for the results. Brutal, especially when someone's health is involved
I live 5 minutes away from Courtice clinic. Using online app with checkin of 20 minutes. I told staff at door that I booked online. They didn't ask my name they just told me to go outside and wait in line. It was raining. 3 of us there. 2 not booked on line. Then as I was questioning the person in front of me the guard came out and asked my name. Then told staff member. Next we were asked to come inside where we go in line behind 2 other people. Our cards were collected and then I received text that wait was 8 minutes. Then everyone ahead of me were let in even the two without online booking and my wait time went to 16 minutes. Then staff asked me to move to front of line. Then more people were let in. I started complaining about the wait to next person who was also on her lunch hour and booked on line and when she asked how long the wait was she was told I don't know so she left. I was then told I could go in and when I went down their staff hadn't brought down my paperwork. She got up to go get my paperwork cause she wasn't getting an answer on the radio when the staff member appeared with it. Then I got asked to wait around the corner. 35 minutes just to get in and wait. I got called in to wait in a room and then waited again. Not long but when the app tells you 20 minutes and you end up spending your entire lunch hour it tells me the system is not working. Please get organized. Other locations are better choices.
