Absolutely unacceptable experience at Stacked Pancake House. The food was terrible, but the service and lack of basic respect for dietary needs were even worse. There was a $2 upcharge for literally everything — oat milk because I’m lactose intolerant, turkey bacon or any kitchen alternative because I cannot eat pork for medical and religious reasons. Being nickel-and-dimed for necessary accommodations is ridiculous. Our toast was forgotten, and when oat milk finally arrived, it was spoiled. Instead of apologizing or replacing it immediately, staff actually tried to defend serving spoiled milk, which is both disgusting and unsafe. Despite clearly requesting NO whipped cream, my French toast came out completely smothered in it. This shows a total lack of care, communication, or accountability in the kitchen. Between the poor food quality, constant upcharges, forgotten items, and staff defending mistakes instead of fixing them, this place was a complete failure. If you have dietary restrictions, allergies, or expect even basic competence, avoid this location entirely.
Stacks is our go to place for breakfast. We have been coming here for years. We decided to try their courtice restaurant.Our waiter was Ross he was very pleasant and ensured our order was correct. The food was hot and plentiful. Definitely will be coming back
We had the Stacked Pancakes and Western Omelette. The food was fantastic, portions were more than fair, and service was great. Only drawback was that it was extremely loud.
We just had a late breakfast here and the food was fantastic really fresh exactly right came fast but best of all our waitress Amy was really friendly and knowledgeable helped to make sure we got exactly what we wanted was exceptionally helpful kind and did a really amazing job leaving a great experience in our minds and we look forward to returning.
Amy our server was friendly, attentive, just exceptional in every way possible. We came out early for my husband's birthday. Amy started our birthday morning to be special. We like a big breakfast and Amy gave us suggestions which we chose. We will come back soon when she is on her shift again. Food was generous but could be hotter and toast crisper as how we like it .Next time we will make a point as we order. Otherwise everything was cooked well. Coffee refills were there before asking. A most enjoyable experience on my husband's special day. The more experienced server Dominica spoke to us as well. She was also very friendly and helpful as we praised her new server Amy. Thanks our Courtice neighbourhood Stacked Restaurant and their wonderful staff!
Stacked is always a favourite in my family. We love breakfast foods at any time in the day and love healthy home cooked meals. Stacked is highly recommended!
I had ordered the Banana Berry Crepes with a side of fruit as take out. The crepes were small but tasted fine, but when it came to the fruit cup I was given I opened up the container and immediately smelt sour, fruit was mushy and rotten. The presentation of everything was good but very disappointing given that this came from a restaurant and should be fresh.
